Job Purpose:

Lead the Food Service revenue planning, demand planning, S&OP, pricing governance, business analytics, and performance management agenda to enable profitable and sustainable growth. Partner with Marketing, Sales, Culinary, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and IRD to integrate business plans, deliver accurate forecasts, provide performance reporting and commercial decision support, and ensure effective execution across the Food Service business.

 

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end to end Food Service revenue planning process, including the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), budgeting, demand forecasting, revenue phasing, forecasting assumptions, and rolling forecasts by translating institutional contracts, tender pipelines, approved innovation commercialization plans, commercial initiatives, and seasonal demand patterns into accurate revenue and volume plans.

 

  • Lead the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process by consolidating commercial demand, identifying business risks and opportunities, and aligning Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, IRD, Category Brand Management, and leadership on integrated business plans.

 

  •  Partner with the Head of Sales to optimize the customer, channel, and account mix, supporting sustainable and profitable growth across the Food Service business

 

  •  Lead pricing governance, Revenue Growth Management (RGM), tender evaluation, contract pricing, and margin management by developing pricing architecture, evaluating commercial proposals, monitoring contract profitability, and recommending pricing actions to protect business profitability.

 

  •  Partner with Supply Chain and Manufacturing to align demand plans with production capacity, proactively managing supply constraints, inventory risks, and operational implications to ensure uninterrupted customer service
  • Develop and maintain the Food Service Revenue & Channel Growth Strategy by identifying revenue, profitability, channel, and commercial growth opportunities supported by robust business planning.

 

  •  Partner with the Category Brand Manager to integrate approved innovation launches, commercialization plans, and portfolio lifecycle decisions into revenue forecasts, demand plans, commercialization planning, and customer rollout plans, ensuring planning readiness across the business.

 

  •  Develop executive dashboards and lead monthly Business Performance Reviews by monitoring revenue, profitability, customer, channel, portfolio sales performance, innovation performance, and forecast accuracy against Budget, Forecast, and Last Year, providing variance analysis, planning recommendations, and corrective actions.

 

  •  Own forecast accuracy, forecast bias, WAPE, and planning excellence by continuously improving forecasting methodologies, planning assumptions, and commercial planning effectiveness.

 

  •  Maintain end to end visibility of the institutional and tender pipeline, evaluating revenue, profitability, commercial risks, and business implications throughout the bid and contract lifecycle.

 

  •  Develop, standardize, and continuously improve commercial planning tools, forecasting models, tender evaluation models, dashboards, reporting automation, and decision support systems to improve planning accuracy, business visibility, and operational efficiency.

 

  •  Own the Food Service commercial planning governance framework by establishing standardized commercial KPIs, planning assumptions, reporting standards, planning calendars, governance routines, and forecasting processes to ensure a single source of truth across the business.

 

  • Lead scenario planning by evaluating business risks, opportunities, and alternative planning assumptions, preparing executive business cases and decision support materials for leadership reviews, investment decisions, and strategic planning.

 

  • Conduct periodic benchmarking of Food Service pricing, contract structures, commercial terms, and Revenue Growth Management (RGM) practices to drive continuous improvement in commercial planning and business performance.

 

  •  Drive continuous improvement across commercial planning processes through automation, governance enhancements, process optimization, and adoption of planning best practices.

 

Background Requirements:

  • 08-10 years of relevant experience in similar or related roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA is preferred.
