JOB PURPOSE:

 Ensure seamless material availability and production execution across local and international divisions, including Toll Manufacturing. Optimize inventory, align production with sales forecasts, and minimize supply chain disruptions through data-driven planning and cross-functional collaboration. This role has a direct impact on revenue realization, bottom-line performance, and working capital optimization to Both local and International Business for the respective categories being look at within the Business Units.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and execute Material Requirement Planning (MRP) in SAP to ensure raw and packaging material availability for seamless production.
• Develop and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS), aligning it with demand, plant capacity, and inventory targets.
• Optimize inventory levels by implementing Days of Coverage (DoC) and safety stock strategies, minimizing waste and stockouts.
• Optimize working capital by maintaining an efficient balance between inventory levels and demand, ensuring minimum excess stock while preventing shortages.
• Regularly analyze and categorize SLOBs (Slow-Moving & Obsolete Stock), working with Demand, Commercial, Finance, and Procurement teams to identify liquidation strategies, rework opportunities, or controlled disposal plans.
• Coordinate with Procurement to ensure timely inbound material flow, reducing lead time risks.
• Identify potential capacity constraints and proactively collaborate with Operation team to mitigate bottlenecks.
• Support New Product Development (NPD) and Consumer Promotion (CP) launches, ensuring material availability and production feasibility.
• Analyze demand forecasts vs. production plans using SAP data, translating insights into SKU-wise reports for realignment.
• Conduct Weekly Demand-Supply Reconciliation Meetings to address deviations and align stakeholders on priorities.
• Ensure real-time monitoring of production schedules and adjust them dynamically to meet market demand fluctuations.
• Collaborate with Toll Manufacturing partners to ensure adherence to schedules and seamless integration with internal production.
• Maintain a robust risk mitigation plan for material shortages, demand surges, and unexpected disruptions.
• Work closely with Quality Control (QC) and Regulatory teams to ensure compliance with food safety and industry standards especially for Exports.
• Align with Demand and Commercial teams to prioritize production based on promotions, seasonality, and key market trends.
• Ensure export order fulfillment, including segregation of materials for local and international markets and timely shipping coordination.
• Provide data-driven insights to senior management on supply chain performance, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g. Lean) to enhance planning efficiency and reduce waste.
• Resolve BOM and Routing issues in the production orders in coordination with R&D and Production teams.
• Implement automated reporting tools (Power BI, SAP dashboards) to enhance visibility across the supply chain.
• Mentor and develop reporting executives, providing training, performance feedback, and career development opportunities.
• Lead and support cross-functional supply chain projects, ensuring alignment with business growth and cost-saving objectives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Masters in relevant field
• 8-10 years of experience
