Job Purpose

To prepare legal documents, manage litigation and administrative records, and provide legal support to different departments, whilst ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Legal Counsel in the preparation, review, and maintenance of contracts and agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with NFL policies and legal requirements.
•  Conduct legal research and analysis on a variety of topics, including laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Lead the mediation and arbitration process to resolve any conflicts/disputes outside the court where possible to safeguard the NFL’s reputation/interests.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures.
• Engage with the Legal Counsel to represent the company's interests in courts and other legal matters.
• Maintain good standards of corporate governance ensuring compliance with applicable laws, consents, regulations, company policies and rules.
• Develop/implement appropriate risk-mitigation strategies to protect the interest of the company.
• Provide guidance, advice, and training to teams across NFL on contract-related matters to ensure the company's interests are safeguarded at all times.
• Take proactive measures to ensure NFL’s intellectual property is safeguarded at all times e.g. property assets, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
• Provide legal guidance, advice, and training to internal teams on legal matters, ensuring awareness and compliance across the organization.
• Manage and maintain legal documentation, ensuring proper organization, accessibility, and confidentiality of information.
• Evaluate and conduct due diligence for business deals and transactions, developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies to protect the organization's interests.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, proactively identifying and addressing any compliance issues.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Post Graduate degree in relevant discipline with 8-10 years of experience
