JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate the pasteurizer and associated processing equipment safely and efficiently according to approved operating procedures.
• Monitor and control critical process parameters such as temperature, flow, pressure and processing conditions to ensure consistent product quality.
• Perform equipment start-up, production changeovers and shutdown activities in accordance with defined procedures.
• Execute and monitor equipment cleaning and sanitation cycles to maintain required hygiene and food safety standards.
• Ensure smooth coordination between upstream processing and downstream production operations to maintain continuous product flow and minimize interruptions.
• Monitor equipment control systems, alarms and operating conditions, taking timely action in case of process deviations or abnormalities.
• Conduct routine equipment checks and promptly identify and report any operational or mechanical abnormalities.
• Support maintenance teams in equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and breakdown resolution.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, quality, hygiene and workplace safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate production, cleaning, downtime and operational records.
• Minimize product losses, utilities consumption and equipment downtime through effective monitoring and disciplined operating practices.
• Support equipment performance improvements, process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure effective shift handover by communicating equipment status, operational issues and pending activities.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, workplace organization and equipment cleanliness.
• Support audit readiness and adherence to applicable manufacturing, quality and safety standards.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Diploma or Secondary School with 2-4 years of Experience
